A few rules to keep in mind when posting to “Healthy Debate”
The healthcare landscape in Alberta is changing rapidly, often causing concern for those employed in the industry, thousands of whom are HSAA members.
This blog is another way for HSAA leaders to communicate with members, to discuss issues and interact through technology with you. We must, however, aspire to create an atmosphere of respect. Therefore, the following rules must be adhered to, thus ensuring your thoughts are successfully posted to “Healthy Debate”.
• Respect – Comments should not slander an individual or group. We want to create a non-confrontational atmosphere for HSAA members and others on our site.
• Profanity: Messages containing foul language will be deleted – no exceptions.
• Protect Privacy: Comments should not contain personal information (work-related or home) such as name, worksite, residential phone numbers and/or addresses.
• Work Computers: Do not use computers at your worksite to post messages to “Healthy Debate”. Post messages on your own time.
• Be Brief: While this is not meant to be “Twitter” (maximum characters allowed), sometimes less is more. Be brief, and people will be more likely to read and respond to your post.
• Be Responsible: Stay on message.
HSAA will be monitoring all posts, and reserves the right to revoke posting privileges of participants.
